Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group

2005年に東京で結成されたアーティスト・コレクティブ。
現代社会に介入したプロジェクトを通して世界各地の展覧会に参加し、その他にもさまざまな自主企画を展開している。
主な個展は森美術館（東京）、Dallas Contemporary（アメリカ）、MoMA PS1（アメリカ）、Saatchi Gallery（イギリス）などで開催。広島では個展「広島!!!!!展」旧日本銀行広島支店（2013年）がある。
また、福島第1原発事故に伴う帰還困難区域内で2015年から続いている展覧会「Don’t Follow the Wind」の発案と参加や、アーティスト・ラン・スペース「Garter」、ユーモラスでナンセンスな「商品」や「作品」を販売することで使用価値の概念を問いかけるポップアップ・ショップ「KANE-ZANMAI」など、さまざまな自主プロジェクトを立ち上げてきた。メンバー個人でもスペースやコミュニティの運営、出版等を手掛けている。

Formed in Tokyo in 2005, Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group is an artist collective whose projects intervene in contemporary society.
Alongside participating in exhibitions around the world, the collective has initiated and developed a wide range of independent projects. Major solo exhibitions have been held at Mori Art Museum (Tokyo), Dallas Contemporary (USA), MoMA PS1 (USA), and Saatchi Gallery (UK), among others. In Hiroshima, they presented the solo exhibition Hiroshima!!!!! at the former Bank of Japan Hiroshima Branch.
Their independent projects include conceiving and participating in Don’t Follow the Wind, an international exhibition launched in 2015 inside the Fukushima exclusion zone following the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster; the artist-run space Garter; and the pop-up shop KANE-ZANMAI, which questions notions of use value through the sale of humorous and nonsensical “products” and “artworks.” Individual members are also involved in running spaces and communities, as well as publishing activities.
